This Week in Bartitsu:

Ongoing Bartitsu class runs 8pm-10pm every Monday and Wednesday and 3pm-5pm every Saturday.

There will be a Rank Exam on Friday, 24 April. A student qualifies for the Blue Sash exam by participating for a minimum of three full months, since there are three unique lessons in each of our disciplines. Many students find that they require more practice on each of these topics before testing them, and they need not be learned consecutively.

We encourage non-testing students to attend as observers, or as partners to help with the testing process and encourage their classmates.

Monday and Wednesday:

  • 8pm Warm up and review (all levels): Savate essentials
  • 9pm Fight Like Sherlock Holmes (Green Sash) and Blue Sash: Side Kick and Chassé
  • Red Sash: Fouette

Saturday, 25 April:

  • 2pm Fight Like Sherlock Holmes (Green Sash): Savate essentials
  • 3pm Jujitsu Lesson:
    • Fight Like Sherlock Holmes (Green Sash) and Blue Sash: Side Kick and Chassé
    • Red Sash: Fouette
  • 4pm Weapon Integration:
    • Blue Sash: Collar and elbow
    • Red Sash: Shoulder throw
