This Week in Bartitsu:

Bartitsu Study Group (no instructor): 8pm-10pm every Wednesday
Ongoing Bartitsu class: 3pm-5pm every Saturday.

Saturday, 26 August:
All levels will review fundamentals:

  • Shin kick
  • Evading kicks
  • Knee strikes

Green Sash will review of all savate lessons:

  • Round kick
  • Side Kick and chasse
  • Stop-kick

Blue Sash will review all savate categories:

  • Lead leg: Snap kick, hook kick, fouette
  • Rear leg: Front kick, switch-side kick, crescent kick
  • Spin kicks: Back-kick, spin hook kick, spin crescent kick

The ongoing class will also focus on the transition to a cooperative study group, how best to support each other and encourage those with less experience, and time management.

Although this is the last class of the program, I will post the outline for a wrap-up of walking stick next week.

The Bartitsu program at Academie Duello is currently closed to new enrolment, as it will be transitioning to a study group. Any member of Academie Duello on any monthly plan who has previously taken the Bartitsu Fundamentals course can join the Bartitsu study group.
